Restaurant Apologizes For Themed Menu Ahead of 9/11

A Virginia restaurant is apologizing after facing backlash for its 9/11-themed menu.

The 'Patriot Day 2022' Menu at The Clubhouse at Aquia Harbour included items like 'First Responder Flatbread', '9-11 Oysters', 'Freedom Flounder', 'Flight 93 Redirect' Crab Dip, and the 'Never Forget Sampler'.

The menu was quickly pulled from the restaurant's Facebook page. Manager George White offered an apology, writing "My intention was to bring attention to that horrific day 21 years ago."

A short time later, a new football-themed menu was posted, featuring the same items with names like 'Fumble Flounder' and 'Offense Oysters'.
