We usually hear about transportation agencies RAISING their fares but not this time around. MUNI announced that they are actually going to LOWER some of their fares here in the Bay Area!
Currently, you pay $22 for a single-day pass, including cable car rides, that price will now be $12! Muni is also proposing a new type of fare: A one-day pass valid for unlimited rides for $6.25!
