For the 27th year in a row, which comes as no surprise, labrador retrievers remain the country's most popular purebred dog, while German shepherds and golden retrievers have hung onto the second and third spots.
Rounding out the top 10 are the bulldog, the beagle, the poodle, the Rottweiler, the Yorkshire terrier and the German shorthaired pointer.
