Salesforce Transit Center Forced To Close Due To Cracked Beam!

It's only been open for 45 days and yesterday, the Salesforce Transit Center in San Francisco was forced to close.

People were evacuated around 4pm due to a worker finding a cracked beam on the 3rd floor of the center. The worker alerted his boss who then ordered the closure.

The closure has affected MUNI lines and they are re-routing to the (old) Transbay terminal. There is no estimated time of reopening of the Salesforce Transit Center. You can imagine how long inspections and repairs will take.

Couple that with the Salesforce Dreamforce convention going on and you have a complete traffic nightmare in San Francisco!
