Crews have started tearing down the Vallco Shopping Mall in Cupertino. The shopping center is currently empty.
The plan is to make room for a new and improved mixed-use town center that includes nearly 3,000 residential units.
The center will have office, retail, and entertainment spaces, according to the developer.
