The Fremont Police Department announced it will soon begin a pilot program to test a Tesla Model S 85 customized for patrol operations!
The car is coincides with the city's of Fremont's goal to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 25 percent by the year 2020.
This car will replace a 2007 Dodge Charger which was scheduled to be taken out of service.
