Fire officials in Anaheim were forced to break the back windows of a car parked in front of a fire hydrant during an emergency situation.

After receiving multiple responses saying the crews could have gone over the car, officials took to Twitter again to assure the public why this is the best option.

Officials assured the public that they posted the photos to educate the public.

Authorities remind drivers not to park in front of a hydrant or in fire lanes.
