Alex Trebek won the Emmy for best game show host at last night’s Daytime Emmy Awards.
To a standing ovation, he claimed that he was worried that he won by sympathy votes, based on his cancer diagnosis back in March. This is his sixth Emmy, so he can probably put the sympathy vote worry to rest.
