This Man SWAM From Hawaii To San Francisco!

We talked last week about the man that paddleboarded from Sausalito to Hawaii but this week we are learning about a man who swam from Hawaii to San Francisco, all in an effort to bring awareness to the plastic problem in the ocean!

Ben Lecomtes swam 80 miles which included swimming through a swirling vortex of garbage between Hawaii and California known as the Great Pacific Garbage Patch that has been growing at an alarming rate over the years.
