Ribbon has been returned safe and unharmed by a Good Samaritan.

A Good Samaritan found and returned a young dog who was stolen from Berkeley Humane over the weekend by a “previously trusted” volunteer.

6-month-old Ribbon was stolen from a passcode-protected area of the shelter.

On Monday, the Good Samaritan brought Ribbon into the Berkeley Animal Care Services to get her chip scanned. After her identification was confirmed, Berkeley Humane was contacted.

Ribbon was returned safe and unharmed.

Ribbon is a 6-month-old Staffordshire Terrier mix; she has been spayed and microchipped. For more information on adopting Ribbon or any of the other wonderful animals at Berkeley Humane, click here.
