Because of the pandemic, family vacations will be taking on a whole new look this summer. More than likely families and individuals will be staying home.
The looming staycations have created an unusual demand for swimming pools. Local pool companies are being inundated with orders. “Definitely a higher demand than we’ve experienced before” said Ronald Perkins, general manager of Seven Seas Pools and Spas.
The number one retail search on Google right now is swimming pools. Requests for information from pool companies have increased 300% since last year. Many pool installers are already booked solid for this year, and are now taking orders for next summer.
