Things could have turned out much worse for Simon Cowell.
The “America’s Got Talent” star was trying out his new electric bike outside his home, and he fell off. His back was broken in several places, and had to undergo a six hour operation. Doctors said he came very close to severing his spinal cord.
The accident happened when he changed gears, and the bike went into a wheelie throwing him off.
A source at NBC said AGT will carry on without him during his recovery with the remaining judges, Howie Mandel, Sofia Vergara and Heidi Klum.
