Police Officers Haul Bear To Safety

Police officers hauled a 350 pound bear the length of a football field to safety.

The bear was injured in the, you guessed it, Bear Fire in Butte County. The police officers were flagged down by a wildlife warden who saw the bear hiding behind a rock. They then pulled. the 350 pound bear more than 100 yards over very rough terrain. The bear was then tranquilized, and taken to an animal care center near Sacramento.
