You might have noticed changes at Bay Area toll booths.
When the pandemic started, state-run toll bridges pulled the collectors from the toll booths. That was supposed to be temporary. Well, those changes have now been made permanent.
If you use FasTrak, nothing will change for you. If you don’t, cameras at the toll plazas will read your license plate, then send you a bill at the end of the month. The best news though, is that toll collectors will be reassigned to new jobs within CalTrans.
