A Tesla was spotted driving the streets and freeways of the Bay Area recently…with no driver.
The Tesla Model Y was last spotted on I-80 in Emeryville with a passenger in the BACK seat, but nobody behind the wheel. The CHP is investigating, and other Tesla owners were not amused. One said that the person in the back seat “belongs in jail”. The man has since been arrested & charged with reckless driving.
Last month a Tesla crashed with nobody driving, but with two passengers who died at the scene.
