Tighter Water Restrictions Are Now In Effect In This Bay Area County

Water restrictions are getting tighter in the Bay Area because of the drought. 

Contra Costa County is now under a voluntary 10% water cutback. Marin residents can now use their sprinklers or water their lawns only once a week:

Monday: Ross, Tiburon, Belvedere, San Geronimo, Forest Knolls, Lagunitas

Tuesday: San Rafael, Unincorporated Marin County

Wednesday: San Quentin, Sausalito, Corte Madera, San Anselmo

Thursday: Mill Valley

Friday: Woodacre, Larkspur, Fairfax, Greenbrae, Kentfield

Saturday & Sunday: No irrigation

And washing cars at home, washing driveways, and sidewalks, power washing homes, and watering between 9a and 7p are prohibited.
