These Are Hard Core Cyclists Riding For A Good Cause

They’re calling it the Bay to Brooklyn bike ride.

A group of cyclists, who happen to be retired and active firefighters, took off from Vallejo on Sunday to honor the heroes and victims of the 9/11 attacks. Their final destination will be New York. 

They’re planning on covering 120 miles a day, and visiting as many fire stations as they can along the way. This is the second time the group has made the trip. The first was ten years ago, when only two cyclists took part. This year more than fifteen people are riding part of the way, or all the way to New York.
