Believe it or not, some US towns are willing to pay you up to 20 grand to move to their town
Now that remote working is becoming more prevalent, it’s making it easier for people to move to new towns.
For example, Shanelle Sherlin, a social media strategist, left Los Angeles and moved into her parents’ house in Vail Colorado to work remotely during the height of the pandemic. Then she caught wind of the fact that Northwest Arkansas was offering $10,000 for people to move there she jumped on the deal. They even threw in a mountain bike! She moved into a 3,400 square-foot four-bedroom home that she bought for $405k. The same home in LA would have cost her about $2 million, but now she’s realized her real estate dreams in the Ozarks.
