There’s a shortage of wine bottles right now in the Napa Valley, and that’s because there’s a shortage of glass with which to make them.
Blame it on, what else, the pandemic.
The lockdown can be blamed for a cutback in the production of the raw materials used to make glass, and in turn, bottles. So, wine makers are looking at alternate container methods, like cans and boxes.
