6:45am:
The accident has been cleared and the sig alert has been cancelled. Traffic is still backed up to the foot of the maze.
6:30am:
Traffic now backed up to the foot of the maze and it's taking you over an hour to go from the maze to San Francisco. CalTrans and CHP suggesting you use alternate routes into SF. Do NOT use the Bay Bridge.
5:55am:
There is a major traffic alert on the Bay Bridge this (Thursday) morning. 80 westbound on the bridge at the Center Anchorage, two cars and a box truck mixed it up. It appears that the cars were racing and collided with the box truck. The three right lanes are blocked. The two left lanes are the ONLY open lanes.
Traffic is backed up to the 880 overcrossing and the metering lights are on.
