Say Bye Bye.... Microsoft Retires Internet Explorer After 27 Years

Starting today, if you try to open Internet Explorer you will be directed to the company's more recent browser Microsoft Edge.

Microsoft Edge is faster, more secure and a more modern browsing experience than Internet Explorer.

Edge also addressed a key concern: compatibility for older, legacy websites and applications.

Of course it would not be a farewell if social media didn't make memes and jokes about it. One person thanked Internet Explorer for teaching them how to manage anger.
