Beauty Products Are the Most Expensive They’ve Been Since 2016
You are not going crazy, beauty products cost more now than they use to.
Cosmetic and perfume categories saw a price increase of 2.3%.
Beauty services like hair cuts and other personal services now cost 4.4% more than they did in August 2021.
The increase is related to inflation. Demand is also higher as people are getting back outside, going back to work, gathering with friends and buying more product.
