After almost two decades, Rachael Ray is giving up her daytime talk show.
Her show premiered in 2006, and has won several Emmy Awards. It was an interesting mix of cooking segments and celebrity interviews.
She said “In my more than 20 plus years in television I have had 17 wonderful seasons working in daytime television with ‘Rachael,’” she said in a press release. “However I’ve made the decision that’s it’s time for me to move on to the next exciting chapter in my broadcast career.”
She’ll be launching a production company called Free Food Studios to create a library of original content dealing with food.
No announcement has been made about when her last show will air.
