Twix fans are left stunned after a 2018 tweet resurfaced, exposing the meaning behind its name.
In the tweet, user Fooji tweeted at Twix, asking: “I read that “Twix” is short for ‘twin biscuit sticks.’ Can you confirm or deny this?
Twix retweeted the users saying they were close, “It’s short for ‘twin sticks.”
Candy lovers immediately chimed in, "I was today years old when I found out that Twix stands for Twin Sticks!!!" one Twitter user posted, and another said, "Can't believe I've just found out that Twix stands for twin sticks.
