Amazon MGM Studios has acquired the documentary "Man on the Run," directed by Academy Award winner Morgan Neville, which explores Paul McCartney's creative journey after The Beatles' breakup. The documentary will premiere at the Telluride Film Festival and is part of a new partnership between McCartney, Universal Music Group, and Amazon. The partnership will include exclusive music and merchandise releases on Amazon Music, as well as commentary from McCartney himself. "Man on the Run" will be released in select theaters and on Prime Video in February 2023, offering a unique look at McCartney's post-Beatles era through unseen footage and archival materials.
