By now, everyone has heard about Faye Dunaway and Warren Beatty reading the incorrect winner name at the Oscars for Best Picture.
Did you know that wasn't the first time that had happened?
Aside from Steve Harvey and his blunder at the Miss Universe Pageant, and now Faye and Warren at the Oscars, the same thing happened waaaaay back in 1964.
Back then, Sammy Davis Jr. got his hands on the wrong envelope and announced that the winner for best music score -- adaptation or treatment was going to John Addison for his work on the Albert Finney British comedy Tom Jones. In that case, Jones wasn't even nominated, so Beatty and Dunaway can take some solace in that.
