A Picture Tells 1000 Words.

From Frank Somerville's page at KTVU. We HAD to share this.

This picture is both heartbreaking and incredibly beautiful at the same time.

Especially when you find out why this man is laying down on the sidewalk and what's next to him.

Jose R. Millan sent me the story. Here’s what he wrote:

Today I stopped at the 7-11 on Tennyson in Hayward and I noticed a cat in the driveway.

It was bleeding from his eyes nose and mouth. He had been hit by a car.

I called animal services and they were in route. But I had to go because I was on the clock.

As I was getting ready to leave this gentleman walks up and lays with the cat until animal services arrived.

(The cat is hard to see but it's literally right next to him)

I would just like to share this story with you for whatever it's worth. I was very saddened by this.I've never been face to face with an animal that was in such pain.

--Jose R. Millan

I don’t even know what to say about the man who stayed with cat. What a kind soul he has. God bless him.I sure hope he sees this.

My guess is that the cat didn't make it.But if that's the case at least it didn't die alone.
