BART trains are stopping again after man is rescued from platform!

BART trains are once again stopping at the Walnut Creek station after a station closure Wednesday afternoon because of someone threatening to jump off of the platform.

The incident began at around 1:30 p.m. and BART trains were stopped at Lafayette in the eastbound direction and Pleasant Hill in the westbound direction.

The man surrendered around 6pm and was taken to a psych ward. Trains are now resuming normal service but there are major delays.
