A piece of history recently hit the Sausalito real estate market for $390,000.
The houseboat community in Sausalito used to be a really big thing. This particular houseboat is built on top of a WWII balloon barge!
The real estate agent selling the boat says his phone has been ringing off the hook since he first listed the property in March, but it still hasn't sold as it requires a special buyer who can pay cash. He says there are two options with the property: Tear down the original structure and start from scratch or refurbish what's there.
