Sheila Burch and her husband, David, are the owners of Nickelodeon Entertainmenet in Pacifica and have been renting movies to locals since 1984.
Today (Sunday), their store is closing.
A lot of people would find it hard to believe that even in 2017, Nickelodeon would still have customers based on the fact that people don't rent movies much any more from video stores but Nickelodeon, had a loyal customer base and those customers kept it afloat...until now.
It's always so sad to see local business that are family-owned not survive in a world of big-box stores. Sheila and David, congratulations on 33 years of success.
