The Bay Area is setting a trend but not in a good way.
Mail Theft.
Over the last year, there were reports of arrests in every single county in the Bay Area! Many residents say it’s so bad, they’ve had to start using PO boxes and can’t have mail delivered to their homes.
Thieves break the locks on the mail boxes and steal mail...that is if your box is even locked in the first place. Some residents say it’s so bad that they don’t even check their mail anymore!
California has more mail theft than any other state in the nation! USPS stores say their business has gone up about 10% because of the number of Bay Area residents that are starting to used PO Boxes.
