An accused Bay Area drug dealer was arrested after DEA agents caught him advertising controlled substances on his Instagram.
According to a DEA affidavit authorities learned of suspect Marcos Hatch, 20, while investigating another local man suspected of dealing drugs.
An undercover Oakland police officer had requested to follow him on Instagram, and when he was accepted.
According to the affidavit, Marcos posted 20 pictures advertising prescription painkillers and Xanax.
In another post on the page, Hatch posted a picture of himself with stacks of bills, with the hashtag #takenpenitentiarychances.
