Yep. There are still some Blockbusters in operation...but not many. At one point in the '90s they had 9,000 locations. The few that are still open can be found in Alaska, and the reasons make sense. Cold temps, long Alaskan nights and slow Wi-Fi connections making streaming difficult keep those few Blockbusters open.
