Paralyzed Pleasant Hill teen making progress but still needs your help.

A fundraiser was held at College Park High School Monday night to help raise money for Ryan Joseph who is a teenager that was paralyzed in a wrestling match at school in January. 

Over 600 people turned out to the fundraiser on Monday night to support his family and make donations that will go toward Ryan's mounting hospital bills and a new van that has been custom designed to accommodate his wheelchair.

Ryan is apparently making great strides and starting to breathe on his own and without the aid of a machine and preparing to eat solid food.

He can move his arms to help control his wheelchair. He has regained some feeling in his feet.

Instead of mouthing words, he can now talk.
