Alameda resident Christina Kerby is currently on a Holland-America cruise with her mother in Asia. They are on the Westerdam ship which is concerned by the coronavirus and has been turned away port after port and it's been floating around the South China sea for the past week.
Kerby said it's been a positive experience overall and it's been a minute-by-minute experience.
She said she's been passing the time by working out and learning new skills.
She said she's trying to keep it as positive as possible.
