New studies have shown that while exercising and meditating are great ways to keep your brain healthy, drinking coffee and eating chocolate can also help in that department!
Thanks to researchers studying the effects of coffee on the brain, there are some interesting breakthroughs that have been shared around the internet.
The National Institute of Aging and Johns Hopkins University found that caffeine has "clear effects on neuronal network activity, promotes sustained cognitive performance and can protect neurons against dysfunction and death in animal models of stroke, Alzheimer's disease and Parkinson's disease."
