As many Bay Area residents and Keanu Reeves die-hards know, the upcoming Matrix 4 has been shooting scenes on location throughout the city of San Francisco.
So far, fans have seen explosions, stunt cars flipping over, and impressive building jumps throughout the city. On Thursday many commuters on their way to work in San Francisco's Financial District spotted one of those stunt scenes firsthand. Shoots involving low-flying helicopters with stunt doubles dangling from them have been caught on people's iPhones. On Sunday, some explosions on set caused a few building lamps and a street advertisement to melt.
The movie will continue to film around downtown San Francisco until March 2nd, so you can expect to see some more action-packed scenes around the area until then.
