How To Wear A Face Mask So It Won't Fog Up Your Glasses

If you wear glasses, then I’m sure you’ve discovered that it seems impossible to wear a mask with them fogging up. Here are 4 tips that might help…even surgeons use some of these tips!

1. Make sure your mask is as tight as possible across the top. Warm air escapes through the top of the mask and can fog up your lenses.

2. Wash your lenses with soapy water.

3. Add a folded tissue inside the top of your mask. Fold it a few times, put it right between your mask and the bridge of your nose, and it will help absorb the moisture. This should lower the amount of condensation that ends up on your lenses.

4. Fold the very top of the mask inward. But take not that this only works with masks that don't have a form-fitting metal piece for your nose. Folding it creates extra space for your breath to escape before it hits your glasses. The only con is that there's less of a seal that way.
