AMC Theaters Pushed Back Their Opening Date To The End Of July!

After the controversy over mask wearing, AMC Theaters is now pushing back their opening date.

They will open back up again on July 30th. They will restart operations at 450 locations and then an additional 150 theaters the following week. AMC said that the change of about two weeks from the previously announced time will take into account the newly scheduled release dates of "Mulan" and "Tenet."

According to CEO and President Adam Aron, he stated "We continue to devote extraordinary resources into our plan to operate our theaters with a hyper commitment to the safety and health of our guests and associates. Our theatre general managers across the U.S. started working full time again today and are back in their theaters gearing up to get their buildings fully ready just a few weeks from now for moviegoers."
