Oakland Approves 15 Percent Cap on Charges for Food Deliveries

On Tuesday (July 28) Oakland City Council members approved a maximum allowed fee that restaurants must pay to delivery services such as Uber Eats, Doordash, etc. that deliver food to locations in the city. The cap is 15 percent of each order, which is half of what was being charged.
