Gap Inc. announced that they will be closing over 220 stores, mainly in shopping malls, as part of a new restructure. This new plan, that is set to be complete in 2024, also includes closing 130 Banana Republic stores.
Due to the pandemic, Gap Inc. plans to implement a stronger e-commerce presence, as well as put more focus on their existing outlet stores.
