Bay Area Rescue Dog Is Adopted After 65 Weeks At ARF Thanks To YOU!

We always say that our listeners are the BEST on the Breeze but now you've really done it!

After 65 weeks at Tony LaRussa's Animal Rescue Foundation, Kirk has finally found his forever home!

Now 12-year-old Kirk first came to the Morning Breeze courtesy of Erin at ARF back in February, 2021 when he reached his 300th day in the shelter. Fast forward to July, 2021 and Erin reached out to let us know that Kirk went home for good and we couldn't be happier.

Here is Erin's note:

Hi Carolyn,

I just wanted to share the incredible news that Kirk, the senior pit bull mix who was with ARF for 65 weeks, was adopted last week!

We're beyond thrilled! His new person said Kirk has had no troubles adjusting so far, and he's so grateful to have Kirk. (He even kept his name!)

Thought you'd enjoy this amazing update. Thank you for all you did to promote him.

A huge "thank you" to ALL of our Breeze listeners for always being so gracious and loving! This note from Erin made our day!
