San Francisco and Marin County have eased up on their mask mandate.

Starting today, vaccinated people can go unmasked in certain indoor spaces, including: gyms, religious gatherings, indoor college classes, etc. The space should not exceed 100 people and must be a controlled environment, not open to the general public, according to the San Francisco Chronicle.

Partially vaccinated and unvaccinated people are still required to wear a mask indoors at the above settings. Masks are still required indoors for public places, such as the grocery store and restaurants.

On November 1st, Contra Costa County will ease up on their mask mandate and follow suit with San Francisco and Marin.
