Snow Is Back At Lake Tahoe, See Reopening Dates & More For Ski Season

Get ready for the ski season at Lake Tahoe!

The San Francisco Chronicle put together a guide for all of the ski resorts in the area, complete with reopening information, COVID policies and more.

Here's a list of ski resorts available on the guide, as well as the dates they are slated to reopen this 2021-2022 season:

  • Palisades Tahoe - Open select days now. Fully opening on Nov. 24
  • Sugar Bowl - Nov. 26
  • Homewood - Dec. 10
  • Northstar - Nov. 19
  • Heavenly - Nov. 19
  • Kirkwood - Dec. 3
  • Diamond Peak - Dec. 9
  • Boreal - Opened temporarily on Halloween Weekend. Full reopening TBD.
  • Mount Rose - TBD
  • Sierra-At-Tahoe - TBD

Sierra-At-Tahoe is still recovering from the Caldor Fire and is working towards reopening soon.
