Students Create ‘Edible Tortilla Tape’ to Keep Burritos from Unwrapping !?!

Students at Johns Hopkins have just invented edible tortilla tape to hold your burrito together.

A team of chemical and biomolecular engineering unveiled “Tastee Tape” which is described as "an edible adhesive comprising a food-grade fibrous scaffold and an organic adhesive that ensures the ingredients in your favorite wrap are kept tucked tightly inside during cooking and consumption."

The students say they were inspired by their own struggles with sloppy burritos. "Tastee Tape allows you to put full faith in your tortilla, and enjoy your meal, mess-free."

What is the best invention you’ve ever seen? Would you use Tastee Tape?
