Darlene Love and Elizabeth Chan tried to block Mariah Carey from trademarking the title, 'Queen of Christmas', but Mariah Carey has tried to bypass the opposition.
Darlene Love says that she deserves the title because David Letterman gave her that title and doesn't think any one person should own that title.
Elizabeth Chan, on the other hand, thinks that no one should monopolize the word 'Christmas'.
Mariah is trying to trademark the title for various things she wants to sell in the future including cups, lotions, toys, jewelry, etc.
