Why You Now Need To Be 21 To Buy Canned Whipped Cream in this State?!?

It is now illegal to sell canned whipped cream to anyone under 21 years of age in the state of New York.

The law is targeting nitrous oxide abuse.

The canned whipped cream uses nitrous oxide known as 'laughing gas' as a propellant.

Nitrous oxide is also a popular inhalant.

The bill technically went into effect a year ago but public awareness and enforcement just went into effect.

What do you think of this law? Do you think other states may follow suit?
