BREAKING: Lisa Marie Presley Taken to Hospital After Cardiac Arrest

The Daughter Of Elvis Presley Is In A California Hospital After Suffering Cardiac Arrest On Thursday.

Lisa Marie Presley, 54, went into "full cardiac arrest" at about 10:40 a.m. PST in her Calabasas home, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department. Paramedics had to restart her heart before she was rushed to a nearby hospital, sources say. Her mom, Priscilla, is at her daughter's side in the hospital, TMZ reports.

Presley's health scare came just two days after she made an appearance at the Golden Globe Awards to support Austin Butler, who won a statuette for his portrayal of the late King of Rock and Roll in the film Elvis. During his acceptance speech, Butler called out Lisa Marie, saying, "I love you forever."

Outside of a preexisting medical condition, what could cause a 54-year-old to go into cardiac arrest?
