Jay-Z and Beyonce have just purchased a massive 30,000 square foot home in Malibu that is considered to be an architectural masterpiece.
According to real estate sources, the couple spent $200 million for the home, shattering the previous record of $177 million, making it the most expensive house ever sold in all of California.
They actually received a fantastic deal because the house was covertly listed for a staggering $295 million.
The home is located in the Paradise Cove neighborhood, sometimes known as Billionaires' Row, on an 8-acre cliff with a view of the Pacific Ocean.
Designed by Japanese master architect Tadao Ando, who is also designing the Malibu home Kanye West recently purchased, it is likewise a work of art in terms of architecture.
William Bell, one of the largest art collectors in the world, owned and constructed the home. The all-concrete building was constructed by Bell over the course of about 15 years.
The house represents the couple's second significant real estate purchase in the Los Angeles area since 2017.
