Mark Zuckerberg's Rival App Against Twitter Debuts

Mark Zuckerberg spent a lot of time Wednesday night hurling keyboard insults at Elon Musk as part of the launch of his new app, Threads.

Around dinnertime, the Twitter competitor launched, and shortly after it went live, Zuck attacked Musk and his bird app on the platform, which many are dubbing the "new Twitter."

First, Zuckerberg made fun of Twitter while telling Mark Cuban that he hoped Threads would be a more "friendly" platform for communication.

Zuck said, "It'll take some time, but I think there should be a public conversations app with 1 billion+ people on it. Twitter has had the opportunity to do this but hasn't nailed it. Hopefully we will."

Thread has reportedly had 10 million sign ups in that last 7 hours.
